ASUS ZenFone Zoom S has been officially launched in India yesterday. It is the Indian variant of the ZenFone 3 Zoom, which went on sale in USA back in May this year. The main USP of this phone is its dual rear camera setup, which we will explore a bit later. Take a closer look at the specifications, features and pricing of the phone below.

The ASUS ZenFone Zoom S features a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD), pixel density of 401 PPI and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. For multitasking and storage, we get 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, which can also be extended up to 2TB by adding a microSD card. There is a fingerprint sensor located at the back, which can unlock the phone very quickly.

In the camera department, we get a 12 megapixel primary rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, Laser AF, f/1.7 aperture, Sony IMX362 sensor, three-axis EIS and four-axis OIS along with another 12 megapixel secondary rear camera (59mm lens) with f/2.0 aperture and 5P Largan lens. It is capable of 2.3x true optical zoom and 12x of total zoom. On the front, there is a 13 megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and Sony IMX214 sensor. Under the hood, there is a massive 5000mAh battery with BoostMaster fast charging support.

The ASUS ZenFone Zoom S runs on Zen UI 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and ASUS should update it to Android 7.0 Nougat or later (Android 8.0 Oreo) in the future. It is a Dual SIM (micro + nano) phone but comes with a hybrid SIM slot. In the connectivity department, we get 4G VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, USB Type-C and GPS.
