Intex launches Aqua Strong 5.1+ with VoLTE support in India for Rs. 5490

Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ is the latest low-end budget smartphone in the ‘Aqua series’. It was launched in India for a price of Rs. 5,490 and is available in Black and Gold colors. According to the Director of Intex Technologies, the smartphone has been aimed at data savvy users. Check out the specifications and features of the Aqua Strong 5.1+ below.

The Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ rocks a 5-inch FWVGA TN display, which has a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. It is being powered by a Spreadtrum SC9832A quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with 1GB RAM. For storage, we get 8GB of internal memory but it can be expanded up to 64GB by adding a microSD card. The phone packs in a 5 megapixel primary camera at the back with a LED flash. There is a 2 megapixel selfie shooter on the front. It is a Dual SIM phone with 4G VoLTE support. Other options include 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and Bluetooth 4.0.

The Aqua Strong 5.1+ runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and it also supports Matrabhasha service, which enables communication in 21 regional languages. The phone also comes pre-loaded with apps and services such as Saavn, Clean Master, Opera Mini, MiFon Security, integrated smart tracking, VdioPlay and QR code reader. It comes with a 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. The mobile weighs 150.6 grams and is 10.1mm thick. To power the phone, we get a 2000mAh battery under its hood.

The Intex Aqua Strong 5.1+ is definitely a contender for being listed on our best smartphones under 6000 segment, where the Intex Aqua 5.5 VR has already been listed.
