Xiaomi launches Mi Max Prime with 4GB RAM in India ahead of Diwali

Ahead of the festive season (Diwali) in India, Xiaomi has launched a more powerful variant of the Mi Max called Xiaomi Mi Max Prime. It comes with Snapdragon 652 processor, 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, whereas the Mi Max (featured in our best smartphones under 15000 segment) has Snapdragon 650 processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM. The Xiaomi Mi Max Prime features a massive 6.44-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 652 processor, 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM (expandable up to 128GB). It runs on MIUI 8 out of the box based on Marshmallow OS. There is Dual SIM support but it comes with a Hybrid slot where you can either insert two SIM cards at once or can only insert one SIM and one microSD card. In the camera department, we find a 16 megapixel rear primary camera along with a 5 megapixel secondary selfie camera. It also packs in a fingerprint sensor at the back along with an Infrared sensor at the top. In terms of connectivity, we get 4G with VoLTE support, WiFi ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS and more. Under the hood, there is a massive 4850 mAh battery with support for fast charging.
