LeEco and Coolpad comes together again to launch Cool S1 in China, after churning out Cool Changer 1C and Cool 1 in the past. The Cool S1 is very similar to the LeEco Le Pro 3, which is one of the best 6GB RAM smartphones globally. Lets have a look at its features, specifications and pricing below.
The Coolpad Cool S1 features a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS in-cell display, that comes with a pixel density of 401 PPI and 450 nits of brightness. Under the hood, it is powered by a Snapdragon 821 quad-core 64-bit processor clocked at 2.35 GHz along with Adreno 530 GPU. In case of RAM and internal storage, It comes in three different combinations - 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM, 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM and 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM. It runs on EUI 5.8 out of the box based on Android Marshmallow OS.
In the camera department, we have a 16 megapixel primary shooter at the back with Sony IMX298 sensor, f/2.0 aperture and PDAF along with a 8 megapixel selfie shooter. The Coolpad Cool S1 comes in Gold and Black color variants. It is priced at 2499 Yuan ($359 / Rs. 24,362 approx.) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM, 2699 Yuan ($388 / Rs. 26,312 approx.) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM and 3199 Yuan ($460 / Rs. 31,186 approx.) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM in China. The company has not revealed at this point if the device will come to India anytime soon or not.
